Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has left the country to represent Nigeria at the 2016 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
A statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Vice President, Mr Laolu Akande, said that Osinbajo would participate in a number of panels at the annual global event.
According to the statement, the panels will highlight the prospects of the Nigerian economy under President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that Osinbajo would also hold meetings with other leaders.
The statement further noted that this is the first participation of the Buhari administration in the Davos forum.
Osinbajo is expected to return home on Saturday.
