Week two actions resume today, Saturday in the Nigerian South-West Rugby League at the main bowl of the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos.
The first action of the day is between Royal Stallions of Ilorin and Eco II Rugby Football club of Lagos in the Division 2 at 12 noon.
By 2pm, the big boys in the premier league will resume hostility where the Lagos rivals trade tackles; Cowrie RFC of Lagos will hope to bounce back to the top of the table in their highly rated encounter against Racing RFC.
Speaking ahead of their game, Captain of Cowrie RFC, Azeez Ladipo said, “We never started well in our first game of the season despite our victory. We have gone back to the drawing board to perfect our game pattern because we know that our game against Racing RFC will not be an easy game.”
The last game of the day will witness Gosar RFC of Lagos facing Police RFC by 4pm.
It would be recalled that Gosar suffered a shocking 58-0 loss to Racing RFC 2 weeks ago in their opening day encounter which has seen them rooted to the bottom of the four team league.
