Nasarawa United returned to the top of the Super 4 after striker Tayo Fabiyi smashed a late match winner against Enyimba in Uyo on Wednesday.
Nasarawa now have eight points from five matches, while Enyimba are on seven points.
After both teams lost sitters in the first half, the Lafia ‘Solid Miners’ went in front after 61 minutes from the penalty spot through Seun Sogbesan after Enyimba defender Ifeanyi Anaemena was sent off for fouling a goal-bound Fabiyi.
However, Enyimba drew level three minutes later through Christian Pyagbara, who made up for his big miss in the first half, when he stabbed home from a cross from the right.
However, with seconds left on the clock Nasarawa regained the lead when Fabiyi finished off a move from inside the box.
