Some chieftains of the Nigeria’s governing party, the All Progressives Congress APC, on Monday, met for over two hours in the office of the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
Those present at the meeting were the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Yakubu Dogara and the Chairman of the Governors’ Forum, Abdul’azees Yari, who is also the Governor of Zamfara State.
Others were the Governor of Imo State and Chairman of APC Governors’ Forum, Rochas Okoroacha, Admawa State Governor, Jibrilla Bimndow, Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello and Ogun Stte Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.
Addressing State House Correspondents after the meeting, Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki said “it was just a normal meeting that had to do with moving the country forward. There is nothing of great alarm. It’s all in good progress all for good governance, inclusion and great collaboration with all arms. The states are here; National Assembly Executives are here, just to come up with ideas on how to just make things work even better.”
