APC State Chairmen express satisfaction with government performance

Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo welcoming APC State Chairmen at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Forum of State Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress, APC has expressed satisfaction with the performance of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.

Chairman of the Forum, Henry Ajomale stated this while speaking to Journalists after a meeting of the Forum with the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Economic situation
Mr Henry Ajomale re-echoed the vision of the APC government, which is tailored towards improving the lives of Nigerian citizens.

“We came to pay courtesy call on our Acting President. He was able to brief us on the economic situation in the country and the solution and antidote to some of the myriad of problems facing this country and we are very impressed with his explanation and we will go back to our various States and let the people know that the government has a very good intention to ensure that the poor people of this country are getting a better deal,” he said.

Ajomale, who is also the Lagos State Chairman of APC, said they were grateful to God for the improvement in the health of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“We discussed at length, the situation in the country and our anxiety for the health of the President and we are grateful that God in his infinite mercy has made him whole, which is very critical and important for the vision that we have for this country as APC government,” the party chieftain said.

Giving more details of their meeting with the Acting President, the APC chieftain said they expressed concern on the economy of the nation and steps being taken to address the challenges.

Mr Ajomale praised the Buhari-led government for addressing the problem of corruption squarely, adding that the problem must stop.
