Army to provide Bauchi civilians free medical services

The Headquarters of 3 Divison Nigerian Army is set to render free medical services to civilians in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi.

Col. Kayode Ogunsanya, Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, said in a press release on Friday in Bauchi that the exercise is part of activities lined up to herald a military exercise code-named “Operation Harbin Kunama II”.

Ogunsanya said that the one-day free medical services would be rendered in Burra General Hospital, to residents of Burra Town and its environs .And the exercise would cover tests for blood pressure and sugar levels, dental services, as well as malaria and eye checks among others.

The spokesman said that the exercise is part of the army’s constitutional roles of assisting civilians around its areas of operations.
