Nigerian duo of Christian Osagouna and Michael Babatunde were instrumental for their Moroccan side Raja Casablanca in the 5-2 away win at Moghreb Tetouan.
Babatunde and Osaguona were both on target as the capital side whitewashed their hosts in a Week 22 game in the Moroccan Botola Pro.
Raja needed the win to keep pace with Wydad Casablanca and FUS Rabat and they started well as Mahmoud Benhalib scored for the ‘Greens’ in the fifth minute before Issam Raki’s penalty in the 28th minute made it 2-0.
Babatunde got in on the act scoring just after the break before Ziad Krouch reduced the deficit for the hosts from the spot.
The comeback was on for Mohgreb when Mohammed Abarhoune nodded home to make it 3-2.
That euphoria was short-lived as Osaguona got his name on the score-sheet as Abdelilah Hafidi also added another to make it 5-2 for Raja.
Babatunde has been in fine form for his Moroccan side since his switch from Ukrainian side Volyn with Osaguona a fan favourite among the Raja faithful.
