Civil servants are the heart of the nation – Olaniyora

 As part of activities marking the 2016 Nigeria Civil Service week, a Special Jumma’at service has been held in the National Mosque Abuja.
The Deputy Chief Imam of the Mosque, Dr. Ahmad Olaniyora said while leading the prayers, that the Nigeria Civil Service remained the heart and engine room that runs the affairs of Nigeria.
Dr. Olaniyora said “praying for the service was the sure way of praying for the success of Nigeria as they play the vital role for a successful development of the nation”
He added that “the civil servants play roles that contribute to ensure that Nigeria is in good order over the years and you should to continue to do so.”
Dr. Olaniyora also prayed for God’s protection of Nigerians and the service for the desired development of the nation.
The Deputy Chief Imam also prayed for President Muhammadu Buhari in his efforts to move Nigeria forward for the desired development.
The Nigeria’s Civil Service week celebrations will also feature Sunday service, interaction session with workers and the flag off of the Federal Integrated Staff Housing (FISH) by President Buhari on Monday next week in Abuja.
