Nigeria U-23 football team all so known as the Dream Team lost 1-0 to Mexico U-23 in a friendly match played in the early hours of Sunday.
The game which was played in Aguascalientes, in Mexico, was part of both teams’ preparation ahead of the Rio Olympic Games coming up in August.
Earlier in their preparations, the U-23 Eagles defeated Brazil 1-0.
And at the Suwon four-nation Invitational Tournament in South Korea, the U-23 Eagles finished third behind Denmark, South Korea while Honduras finished fourth.
Dream Team Coach, Samson Siasia led side are in Group B of the Rio 2016 men’s football, along with Sweden, Colombia and Japan.
Mexico, who are the Olympics men’s football champions are in Group C, along with Germany, Fiji and South Korea.
