Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Enyimba moved up to second position on the league table after defeating Warri Wolves by 2-1 in a rescheduled Match Day 10 encounter decided at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.
Christian Pyagbara gave Enyimba the lead after just 55 seconds on the clock while Sherdrack Oghu got the equalizer for Wolves in the 39th minute of the game.
Enyimba got the winning goal with 18 minutes to go thanks to substitute Andrew Abalogu.
Warri Wolves ended the game with 10 men as Solomon Okpako was sent off late on in the encounter.
The victory lifts Enyimba from eighth to second on the log sitting just one point behind leaders Rivers United with two games in hand.
Their next game is a trip to the Norhern city of Bauchi to face Wikki Tourists in midweek as they also hope to preserve their nine-match unbeaten run.
