The winners of each of the eight groups in the Nationwide League One NLO has arrived Lagos ahead of the Nationwide Super 8 aimed at deciding the champions of the competition. The matches will be played at the Agege Stadium.
The Executive Secretary of the NLO Olusola Ogunnowo confirmed the tournament would kick off on Tuesday. The final takes place on October 29
Lagos will be represented by AS Racine and My People, with FC Abuja and FRSC representing the Federal Capital Territory.
Others are Owerri clubs Enyimba Feeders team and Papilo, as well as Yobe Desert Warriors and Bida.
The organisers of the tournament also invited four top grassroots teams from Lagos. They are Destiny, Collins Edwin, Spartans and Goodland Rangers.
Ogunnowo said that the Nationwide Super 8 was designed to exhibit more than football as so much had been put in the content of the programme to provide a fun-filled tournament.
