Ifeanyiubah, Nasarawa storm Lagos for Federation Cup final

Nigeria Premier League clubs, FC IfeanyiUbah and Nasarawa United will arrive Lagos on Friday from their Ibadan training camps ahead of their Sunday’s final clash of the Federation Cup.

The two sides have been in Ibadan for the past few days, perfecting strategies for their Federation Cup final match billed for the Teslim Balogun Stadium Surulere Lagos on Sunday.

It is the first time both teams will be competing in the final of the Nigeria’s oldest football competition.

FC IfeanyiUbah head into the game as favourites after finishing in fourth place in the Nigeria Professional Football League last season, while Nasarawa United ended in 11th place.

The winner of the encounter will represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup next year.

Akwa United won the last edition of the competition after edging Lobi Stars 2-1 in the final.
