Jaiz introduces new insurance policy

Jaiz Takaful Insurance Company says it has introduced an insurance policy that will help the government to improve its socio-economic base and give customers the needed benefits in insurance transactions.

The managing director of the company, Mr. Momodu Musa Joof made this disclosure in an interview with Voice of Nigeria in Abuja.

Mr, Joof said the company had decided to vie away from the conventional ways of  insurance  and embrace a new system that would make the customers have benefits at the end of every year, irrespective of accidental losses.

“ We have adopted  principle that will make our customers fully participatory in our  Insurance policy for the benefit of all,” he said.

According to the director, the insurance company is not a religious but a specialized Insurance risk management company that would give customers relief and safety in their insurance transactions.

He stated that the company had introduced policy that would also benefit the government  and in its economic policy  saying that they had equally help the needy in the society through their  policy.

“We have sponsored students into various schools and have given gift items to the poor in order to alleviate their plights,” he said.

Mr, Joof said that presently, the company basically was doing general insurance services, but would take up the life insurance policy very soon and open more branches in the country to add up to the existing one in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

“We are trying to expand to serve our customers better; we also have other offices in Gambia and Zambia where we operate the same policy,” he said.
