Kogi APC sets up inauguration committee

Kogi state wing of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has constituted eight different committees to organise a successful inauguration ceremony which comes up on the 27th of January.
According to the Chairman, Central Planning Committee, Senator Dino Melaye, all other committees with 177 members, are expected to make proposals on logistics, protocols, accommodation, media and publicity in order to ensure a successful inauguration.
Guests and dignitaries across Nigeria are expected to grace the event as various activities have been lined up for the event. as part of the inauguration plan, a music concert and cultural displays among other arrangements, are being made to give lavish entertainment to the invited guests.
Th event will usher in a new administration in Kogi state and people of Kogi state especially the public servants who have been on strike over non-payment of three months salaries.
The strikers are hopeful that their salary arrears will be paid by the new administration after inauguration on January 27, as Kogi state has not yet benefited from the bail out funds which have been made available to some other states in financial distress.
