KWACCIMA urges Nigerians to patronise locally-made goods

Nigerians have been enjoined to always patronise locally-made goods to boost local production and the nation’s economy.

The Director- General  Kwara State Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, (KWACCIMA) Prince Ayo Fagbemi, made call during a chat with VON in Ilorin, the state capital.

The Director-General of KWACCIMA, who expressed displeasure over the closure of industries and other businesses in the state and some other part of the country, however, re-affirmed the commitment of the Chambers with the effort of the state government to resuscitate moribund industries.

Prince Fagbemi who is a legal practitioner stressed the need for adequate investment in technological advancement to pave way for local manufacturers and proffer lasting solution to the realization of the present economic struggle in the country

According to the Director-General, the Chambers would continue to play their role in aggregating entrepreneurs and captains of industries to reduce poverty and fast-track employment generation.

He called on viable enterprises within and outside the state to associate with the Chamber in the discharge of its fundamental responsibilities, pointing out that government would continue to identify with KWACCIMA and provide critical facilities that would make business profitable.

The legal practitioner commended the State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for allocating ten heaters of lands to KWACCIMA, stressing that the Governor has also given the Chamber the marching order to hold  trade fair this year in the state.
