The Kwara state government says despite the twenty- five percent drop in the allocation received for the month of July it has fashioned out a way to pay workers salaries in the state before the Sallah celebration.

The Special Adviser to the State Governor on Communication and  Strategy, Prince Tunji Morohunfoye, who stated this on Monday while speaking with VON also assured staff of State Universal Basic Education Board  (SUBEB) and local government workers that they  would equally receive their monthly pay.

On Agriculture, the Special Adviser described agriculture as an important component of nation building that must enjoy consistent government policies and peoples support.

He called for enforcement of policies and off-takers drive to encourage people to diversify to agriculture.

Prince Morohunfoye also implored those in need of information on agricultural related issues to visit the state Ministry of Agriculture or the department of agriculture in their various local government secretariats across the state.

On Sanitation, the Special Adviser condemned the people’s lukewarm attitude towards the cleaning of their environment, and warned against the danger of dumping refuse in water ways.

On the economy, Prince Morohunfoye called on Nigerians to be patient with the present administration as efforts are ongoing to improve the economy.
