Lagos Monarch urges Nigerians to pray for President Buhari

The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu has assured Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari would soon return to the country.

He made the remark while speaking to Journalists after paying a visit to the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

The Royal father, who said he was in the State House to see his former lecturer, who is now the second citizen of Nigeria, expressed optimism that President Buhari would soon return, as he urged citizens to cooperate with the government, as it addresses the problems of the

“By the grace of God almighty, our President shall return to us hale and hearty. And all will be well with us in this country, provided all of us are sincere and cooperate with the government and tell the government our feelings. We should make constructive and not destructive criticisms,” the Royal Father suggested.

The traditional ruler admonished those making unpleasant remarks about the health of President Muhammadu Buhari to desist from doing so.

“It is very funny the way some people talk about our President. I know of somebody who was sick to the point that maggots started coming out of his body but God healed him talk less of he whose condition is not up to that. By the grace of God our President will be back to us,”
he said.

He urged Nigerians to emulate President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who he described as men of worthy character.

“God has blessed the Acting President more than he expected because he had no political ambition but God destined that he will be the number two citizen of Nigeria. All of us should pray for him and also the President because they are all good people so that this country will move forward. All shall be well with Nigeria,” he said.
