MFM Football Club players before recent kick off

Supporters of Lagos based professional football league side, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, will be returning to the Agege Township Stadium, this Sunday, for the Match Day 29 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) encounter against visiting Plateau United Football Club of Jos.

Regulators of the NPFL, the League Management Company (LMC), had in June, slammed an order of three games behind closed doors, on the new comers MFM FC, with one of these games suspended.

This followed the crowd violence that occurred during MFM FC Match Day 23 fixture against Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan at the Agege Stadium on the 19th of June

MFM lost that home encounter to 3SC by two goals to one.

The Lagos based team won the two matches it played behind closed doors – one a home derby against Ikorodu United and the other against Heartland football club of Owerri.

MFM FC is placed 9th with 33 points from 23 matches played in the 2015/2016 Nigeria professional football league table.
