The Minister made the call while delivering a lecture on “Islam, Muslims, Change: The Contending Issues” at the National Seminar of Nigeria Association of Muslim Law Students (NAMLAS), University of Ilorin.
Shittu affirmed the determination of President Buhari’s government to cleanse the country of corruption and social ills.
The Minister added that it was embarrassing that some Nigerians were parading themselves as Muslims and indulging in immoral acts such as corruption, theft and failed promises.
