NFF holds Annual General Assembly in Lagos

The executive committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have fixed December 13 for their Annual General Assembly AGA in Lagos.

This followed the executive committee’s meeting in Uyo on Friday.

The AGA will approve the date for the kick off of the new Nigeria league season, endorse the promotion and relegation of teams as well as announce the NFF budget for next year.

During this AGA, a bye-election for the vacant seat in the northeast will be conducted on the floor of the congress following the death of Hussaini Modibo from Taraba State.

The executive committee also announced that the sponsorship contract with telecommunication sector have been thrown open any interested company.
