Nigeria intensifies training as Tanzania expected in Uyo

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have intensified training for Saturday’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations match against Tanzania.

The Super Eagles training enters day three on Wednesday with the arrival in camp of  Belgium –based Moses Simon and Slovakia –based Kingsley Madu on Tuesday.

Nigerian coach, Gernot Rohr now has the compliment of all the 22 invited players to the Super Eagles camp in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

The match against Tanzania would be coach Rohr’s  first game as Super Eagles coach since his appointment in early August.

The match will avail him the first opportunity with his players since his appointment. The game in question is insignificant to both teams as Egypt has already picked the sole ticket from the group for the 2017 Africa cup of Nations billed for Gabon.

The delegation of Tanzania’s Taifa Stars is expected to arrive in Nigeria on Wednesday.
Algerians referee Abdelhak Etchiali would take charge of the encounter. He is to be assisted by  Ahmed Tamen and Mustapha Ghorbal. The encounter is billed for the Adokiye Amiesiamaka Stadium, Port Harcourt this Saturday.
