Nigeria spends1.2 trillion Naira on capital expenditure

The Nigerian government has created a new record by spending about one point two trillion Naira on capital expenditure in the past two years.

The government also says the recovered loot from corrupt officials is being used to fund the country’s budget.

These revelations are made at an ongoing press briefing at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

State House Correspondents are being addressed by the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the President, Mr Femi Adesina, Malam Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the President and his counterpart in the office of the Vice President, Mr Laolu Akande.
