Nigerian Army rescues 43 persons from boko haram terrorists

Troops of the Nigerian Army have rescued 43 persons and 500 cows taken by boko haram terrorists.

According to an Army statement, “about eight suspected boko haram terrorists abducted some cattle rearers and livestock at gunpoint at Dalakalari general area, Mafa Local Government Area”.

The troops, acting on information by well meaning people, pursued the terrorists and secured the freedom of the abducted persons.

“The terrorists sensing danger, abandoned the livestock just before Panamri village and ran away,” the statement read in part.
