Nigerian Government prioritises welfare of citizens

The Governor of Akwa-Ibom state, Southern Nigeria, Mr Emmanuel Udom says leaders of the country at all levels were concerned about the welfare of Nigerians and would continue to work toward making life better for the entire citizenry.

Mr Udom stated this at the State House Abuja, while interacting with Journalists.

 “Nigerian leaders at the federal, State and Local Government levels keep looking for ways to improve the welfare of citizens. So everything we discuss is centred on the welfare of Nigerians. The security infrastructure and many other things,” he said.

Governor Udom said all citizens of the country must rally round the government and continue to work hard to move the country forward.

He said all citizens are stakeholders in nation building and so must be seen to be contributing to the development of the country.

“We are all running one project and that is project Nigeria, al hands must be on deck, to move this country forward, to the level that we all envisage, it time everybody must join hands to work fr the whole country,” the Governor advised.

Mr Udom was in the State House on visit to President Muhammadu Buhari.
