The Nigerian government will provide financial support to young people willing to explore their potentials in the creative arts and Music Industry.

To this end, the Ministry of Information and Culture is working with the Bank of Industry to make available a 300 million naira grant for young Nigerians in the creative arts and Music sector.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed said this at the grand finale of an event showcasing the talents of a young poet Titi Williams in Lagos.

The poet’s lines were a reflection of Africa’s civilization and rich cultural values which if further explored could engender a positive reawakening in the youths of the continent.

The Minister therefore urged youths to channel their energy towards creativity and ingenuity in their various endeavours to bring the much needed rapid development to Nigeria and indeed Africa.
