Nigeria’s Super Sand Eagles have been drawn in Group A of the second edition of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.
The Nigerian team will be up against their West African rivals Ghana for the competition fixed for the 13th-18th December 2016 in Lagos state, Nigeria.
While 2015 Copa Lagos champions Ivory Coast and Egypt complete the four teams in Group A.
Holders Madagascar, Libya, Morocco and Senegal will battle it out in Group B.
The draw was conducted on Saturday at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, by CAF General Secretary Hicham El Amrani assisted by Ahmad, president of the CAF Organising Committee for Beach Soccer and Futsal.
The finalists will qualify to represent the continent at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Bahamas in 2017.
