Secretary-General of NVBF, Maikano Adamu, said the camp would open on June 15 to prepare the athletes adequately for the championships.
The championships is scheduled to hold in Nanjing from July 11 to July 15.
Adamu said the eight players are made up of four males and four females, with two players being selected in each category to represent Nigeria in the championship.
He said Team Nigeria would depart for China on July 10 for the event.
