President Muhammad Buhari will be in Osun State on Thursday on a day working visit.
The State Government is urging the people of Osun to demonstrate the Omoluabi (virtuous) ethos they have been known for.
During the visit, the President will commission the newly built 3,000 students capacity, ultra modern, Osogbo Government High School, one of many schools being built by the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Director, Bureau of Communication and Strategy, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon.
it said the President’s visit is a testimony to the landmark achievements of Governor Rauf Aregbesola, which also typifies seamless relationship between the state and the Federal Government.
Mr Okanlawon said the state is poised to set more numerous examples on how to solve many of the nation’s social economic and political complications.
He noted that the state will remain unrelenting in its continued assault on delayed infrastructure in the education and all other sectors.
“The magnificent Osogbo Government High School to be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari is illustrative of the magnitude of our ideas and interventions in the education sector.” Okanlawon said.
The first official visit of the President to Osun since Governor Aregbesola assumed office is unique as it coincides with the twenty fifth anniversary of the state and the sixth year of the exemplary administration and infrastructural reformation.
