Pinnick believes Nigeria will excel at 2018 W/Cup

The Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick has said he is optimistic that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will not only qualify but go beyond the second round of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

And latching in on the rising optimism, Pinnick has said the challenge for the Eagles was not only qualifying but breaking new frontiers in the World Cup.

Speaking to members of the NFF’s General Assembly during yesterday’s meeting in Lagos, Pinnick said, “I strongly believe in the ability of the Super Eagles to not only qualify for the next World Cup in Russia but also surpass past standards set by the previous teams in Africa”, in an attempt to justify his assertion, Pinnick said, “my belief stems from the commitment and potentials in this team. They are talented, eager, disciplined and determined to write their names in the annals of football history and they have a coach, whose dedication and coaching abilities are second to none. “I believe that this team will go places and all we have to do is to give them all the support they deserve to reach their full potentials when they qualify for the World Cup”, added Pinnick.
