Rangers International FC of Enugu says it has registered four new players to strengthen the club for the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The Team Manager, Amaobi Ezeaku, made the disclosure in Enugu on Monday.
Ezeaku said that Bright Silas, Chidera Eze, Ifeanyi George and Osamudiamen Aduh had been with the club but were not registered until recently.
“We used the mid-season transfer window to register the players for the ongoing season.
We fielded the four players against Kano Pillars and they gave their best. The new players are fantastic because they brought fresh breathe into the old players,’’ he said.
Ezeaku thanked the state government for its support during the club’s Confederation Cup poor outing.
Rangers defeated Kano Pillars 3-1 in one of their outstanding matches in Enugu on April 23, to get 16 points.
The club currently occupies the bottom position on the table but has four outstanding matches.
