Nigeria Super Eagles camp will be opened for training in Abuja on Monday, November 7, ahead of a crucial World Cup qualifier against Algeria.
Officials informed that the Eagles will train till Thursday before they fly out to Uyo, where the match will be played on Saturday, November 12.
The match venue hosted last month’s final 2017 AFCON qualifier against Tanzania.
Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr is expected to announce a 25-man squad for the match any time from now.
Nigeria is top of the qualifying group after a 2-1 win in Zambia earlier this month, while Algeria played out a 1-1 draw at home with Cameroon.
Only the overall winners from this group will qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Meanwhile, the Algerian Football Federation have announced via their official webpage that the list of players summoned for the World Cup qualifying match against Nigeria in two weeks time will be revealed on Tuesday, November 1.
New Algeria manager Georges Leekens will address the media at the Olympic Complex conference hall Mohamed Boudiaf Algiers immediately after the roster is announced.
The former Belgium and Tunisia manager will continue coaching Algeria until 2019 if he achieves his targets of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup and getting to the semifinals of the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Football Federation are expected to announce the squad list to face the North Africans as from this weekend after Rohr must have submitted his nominated players to his employer.
