Togolese President, Faure Gnassingbe has arrived in Nigeria’s commercial capital city of Lagos on Tuesday.
Gnassingbe was received by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode alongside officials from Nigeria’s presidency at the presidential wing of the Muritala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos.
The Togolese President is visiting the Lagos Lekki Free Trade Zone where the Dangote Group is embarking on multi-billion dollars investments.
The tour is expected to explore and facilitate prospective investors from the francophone nation (Togo).
Already, apart from the Dangote Group which is currently building a refinery, a fertilizer plant and a subsea gas station, Indian investors are already operating in the Free Trade Zone.
