Former Super Eagles Captain Joseph Yobo is set to play the last 12 games of the season as an ambassador for the Nigeria Professional League.
This announcement was made by the League Management Company, organizers of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
According to the LMC, Kano Pillars FC, Akwa United, FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Wikki Tourists are bidding to sign the defender.
The LMC further stated that Yobo will soon be assigned a club as part of the “Elite Players Scheme” which Sani Kaita benefited from two seasons ago.
Yobo has been capped 101 times and represented the Super Eagles at three FIFA World Cups and six Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
