Wikki beats IfeanyiUbah in Super 4 opening game

Wikki Tourists thrashed FC Ifeanyiubah 2-1 in the opening fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League Super Four competition at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, on Wednesday.

Yaya Kone netted the opener for FC Ifeanyiubah from the spot in the 55th minute, while Shamah Tanze equalised for Wikki six minutes from time.

Wikki Tourists started the game brightly and carved out the first chance of the encounter on four minutes through Bature Yaro but his shot was blocked on the line by Akakem Onyekachi.

Idris Sabo also came close to netting the opener for the Bauchi Elephants two minutes later but his well struck shot sailed over the bar.
