100m women’s NCAATF Championship: Rosemary Chukwuma Reaches Final

Rosemary Chukwuma raced to a fast SB of 11.01s (+0.1) to easily qualify for the final of women’s 100m at the National Collegiate Athletics Association Track and Field (NCAATF) Championships.

The Nigerian athlete is the second fastest overall from the semifinal heats, and will go into the final as a favourite for a podium placement.

Rosemary Chukwuma (born 5 December 2001) is a Nigerian sprinter. She won a bronze medal in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2018 Commonwealth Games as well as a gold medal in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2019 African Games. In 2018, she won a gold medal in the 100 metres at the Summer Youth Olympics, clocking 11.17 seconds.
