The Governor of Kwara State, North Central Nigeria, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has commended the State lawmakers for their positive impact on their constituents and national development.
The Governor made the commendation to mark the first anniversary of those in their first term of inauguration and fifth anniversary for those in their second term.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakate, the governor disclosed that Kwara has 24 lawmakers in the State House of Assembly; three senators; and six members of the House of Representatives, all elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor AbdulRazaq wished the lawmakers good health, safety, and more success as they continue to do their bits to strengthen the legislature and boost national development through productive and friendly engagement with the other arms of government.
