146 New Officers Graduate from Nigeria Immigration Service

The Nigerian Immigration Service on Monday 18 December 2023 graduated 146 new men and officers, officially welcoming them into its ranks. The graduation ceremony unfolded at the Minna Niger state North Central Nigeria Old Secretariat Complex, with ACG Nongo Samuel Shima, the Zonal Coordinator for Zone D, overseeing the proceedings.

 

During his address to the recruits, ACG Shima encouraged them to perceive their enlistment as a noble responsibility, emphasising the importance of serving their country with patriotism, discipline, determination, selflessness, and integrity. He reminded them of the privilege of joining the service and urged them to be proactive and committed in their duties, assuring them of the service’s dedication to their well-being.

 

ACG Shima also appealed to the public, requesting caution when hosting unfamiliar visitors. He advised, “Scrutinise such visitors to ensure they do not pose a security threat to the community.”

The graduation ceremony was graced by notable figures, including ACG Ahmed Karaye, Zonal Commander of the Federal Fire Service, the Controller of Niger State Fire Service, the State Coordinator of the Federal Fire Service (Niger State Command), and the Permanent Secretary of the Local Government Service Commission, among other distinguished guests.
