Speaking with journalists shortly after the formal presentation of the items, Hajia Aishatu said the two of the vehicles, Sharon cars, were meant for the local vigilante groups in the LGAs to enhance security in the zone.
“All of us have a role to play and I and I feel in my small way, I can contribute to their logistics so that it will enhance their patrol in my two local governments of Dukku/Nafada,” Hajia Aishatu said.
She said one of her other project in the area was encouraging girls-child education, through the provision of wheelchairs to some of the female physically challenged in the two local governments, because she believed that it would help them access education.

Speaker after speaker, all encouraged the beneficiaries to make use of the empowerment items to touch the lives of others as well.
Hajia Aishatu also told journalists about some of the other constituency projects she was executing and would execute in her area, including the construction of rural access roads, enhancement of power generation, where she intended to supply transformers and also provide solar light for Tsangaya/Almajiri Schools.
“So that they do not have to cut wood, trim down the trees and we want to make sure that we do a lot of afforestation because Dukku/Nafada is an erosion-prone zone.
