Showmax airs locally made film ‘Land of the Brave’
Showmax earlier this month announced on it’s online platform, its locally made film, #LANDoftheBRAVE through the last two weeks of September.
The film which is under the paid subscription streaming platform’s rollout of fresh content is attributed to the month of September 2021.
This is due to the fact that September is being regarded as “National Heritage Month”, a range of locally produced films arranged by Showmax are to air throughout the final two weeks of the month.
This crime thriller according to Showmax, is set to oppose the backdrop of the stark winter in Namibia, where a tough cop is hot on the trails of an ice-cold Murderer. As devils enclosed in her past come back to haunt her and a public scandal threatens to unravel the investigation, she is determined to get a hold of the murderer even if she has to become a criminal herself.
The film won the best international Feature film in the “Uganda Film Festival of 2021 and also grabbed the award for the best Narrative Feature at the Silicon Valley African Film Festival 2020
‘LANDoftheBRAVE’ film is now accessible on Showmax.
