2022 HAJJ: FCTA Expresses Satisfaction with conduct of Contingent

The Director of Federal Capital Territory Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mallam Muhammad Nasiru Danmallam has expressed satisfaction with the behaviour of FCT contingent to this years hajj exercise.

The Director stated this while answering questions from Journalists in Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He also commended the FCT pilgrims on the way and manners they conducted themselves this year inline with the request of the administration before their departure from Nigeria.

The Director reassured the determination of the Board to continue in the provision of welfare services comparable to non of its sister agencies across the country.

He stated that the Administration was able to acquire a befitting accommodation in Makkah which is the closet to the holy mosque of Haram in Makkah compare to any states of Nigeria.

He said the Board was able to brought a total of 1918 FCT pilgrims for this years hajj in 5 flight out of which 1255 have already been airlifted back home in 3 flights.

Mallam Danmallam disclosed that the airlift of the remaining 663 pilgrims back home is scheduled to be completed by the end of this month as arranged by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.

According to the Director, FCT has not recorded any casualty in this years hajj and prayed for the successful completion of the operation.
