2022 Hajj: Nasarawa Governor lauds Pilgrims for peaceful conduct

The Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has lauded the Muslim pilgrims from the state for their peaceful conduct during the 2022 Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

He gave the commendation while receiving the report of the hajj exercise from the Speaker of the State legislature, Balarabe Abdullahi, who is the State Amirul – Hajj.

The Governor underscored the effort of the Speaker, Amirul Haj for leading a successful 2022 Hajj exercise and also appreciated the National Hajj Commission and the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board for catering to the pilgrims.

He has appreciated the prayers of the pilgrims for him, the state, and the country at large.

While presenting the report, Amirul Hajj, who is the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Balarabe Abdullahi described the exercise as successful.

He explained that all the flights that conveyed pilgrims from Nasarawa State took off and arrived in good time, a gesture he attributed to Gov. Abdullahi Sule owing to the support he accorded the pilgrims welfare board.

The Amirul – Hajj said aside the death of one of the pilgrims in Mecca, the entire exercise was characterized by the patriotic pilgrims who devoted time in praying for the state and the country.

The Speaker urged the Governor to sustain the sponsorship of Muslim pilgrims to Mecca and their Christian Counterparts to Jerusalem.
