The governing party in Nigeria, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed the screening of its Presidential aspirants till further notice.

The APC National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Felix Morka in a press statement said a new date for the exercise will be released.
Recall that the Screening was originally scheduled to hold on May 23, however, no further reason was given for the postponement.
28 Presidential aspirants picked the APC Nomination and Expression of Interest forms but only 25 aspirants submitted the forms.
The screening will have to be held before 29th May which is the date scheduled by the party to hold its Presidential Primary election.
It is worthy of note that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has given all political parties a deadline of 3rd June to submit the candidates to represent them for elective offices in the 2023 General Election.
