The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Mr. Bola Tinubu is to unveil an eighty-page Action Plan to transform Nigeria if elected in 2023.
The unveiling scheduled for Friday, 21st October will be done at an event in the State House, Abuja where the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari will inaugurate the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
A press statement by the Director, Media & Publicity of Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Mr. Bayo Onanuga; said that the event will signal the formal launch of the APC Campaigns for the 2023 general elections.
Mr. Onanuga said the action plan document which is tagged “Renewed Hope 2023 – Action Plan for a Better Nigeria” addresses issues such as security, economy, power and oil among others.
“According to the document, the former Lagos State governor will prioritise National Security, Economy, Agriculture, Power, Oil and Gas, Transportation and Education, when elected as President Buhari’s successor next February.
“Tinubu also outlines policy options for Healthcare, Digital Economy, Women Empowerment, Judicial Reform, Federalism/Decentralisation of Power and Foreign Policy.
“He promises huge investment in Sports Entertainment and Culture, Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship, to expand jobs and opportunities for millions of Nigerian youths.
“Tinubu also promises to continue and expand the massive Social Investment Programs of the Buhari administration”, he said.
Mr. Onanuga said the APC Presidential Candidate’s plans were conceived after traveling the length and breadth of Nigeria and listening to people from different areas of life.
Expected at the event are; Mr. Tinubu’s running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, members of the APC National Working Committee and other leaders of the party.
