2023: ‘Avoid words that instigate Crisis’ – YPP Governorship Candidate

The Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressive Party YPP, Dr. Sunday Opoke, has urged Candidates, irrespective of political parties, to avoid using words capable of instigating crisis.

Dr. Opoke made this appeal when he received the support group Inhouse Comrades in Abakaliki, the State capital.

He said with peace; you can still win the election and become the Governor without killings.

“Elections should be free, fair and credible. It is no do-or-die, but, unfortunately, some politicians see it so.

“I assure you, anyone who sheds blood in this forthcoming Election will not ascend the throne,” Opoko stated.

An elder in the group, Dr. Ogbonna Nisi, said the group would do everything humanly possible for Opoke to become the next Governor because he is accessible and, above all, fears God.

Also, Mr. Edward Constant promise to mobilise hundreds of Pastors to work and pray toward the success of Dr. Opoke.
