2023 Hajj: Nasarawa State To Begin Medical Screening For Intending Pilgrims

The Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board is to begin screening and vaccination for intending pilgrims in the state.
The medical screening which is slated for Wednesday, 10th to Sunday 14th May, 2023 will be carryout across the three senatorial zones.
A statement signed by the Executive Secretary of the board, Idris Al-Makura said the Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board in collaboration with the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency would “commence physical Vaccination and Medical Screening of the 2023 intending pilgrims from the State.”
According to the statement, “this exercise is compulsory to all intending pilgrims as anyone who fails to come for the vaccination and the screening exercise may lose the chance to partake in this year’s Hajj operation.”
For Toto, Gadabuke, Umaisha, Nasarawa, Loko & Udege, the exercise will take place at Emir’s Palace Nasarawa on Wednesday 10th May, at 9:00am, local time.
While for Keffi, Karshi, Panda, Karu, Kokona, and Agwada will take place at the Emir’s Palace Keffi on Thursday 11th at 9:00am.
Similarly, Awe, Azara, Obi, Jenkwe, & Daddare, Keana, Giza, Doma, Ekye, Lafia central, Lafia East and Lafia North will as well take place at the board headquarters on Saturday and Sunday, 13-14th May.
He further called on those who may miss the exercise to come to the board’s headquarters along Jos Road in Lafia as medical personnel would be there to attend to them.
