All Progress Congress,APC, Presidential hopeful, Rotimi Ameachi has rated himself as the most experienced to pick the APC ticket, contest and win the 2023 presidential poll

Ameachi stated this during a courtesy call on the Governor of Kano state, Dr. Uamr Ganduje at the Government House, Kano on the sidelines of consultations with APC delegates in Kano.

He said he is the most eminently qualified to lead the country in 2023 based on his governance and leadership track records.

“I have been a two term Speaker, two term Governor of River state, two term chairman governor’s forum, DG Buhari campaign organization and two term minister.

“Tinubu and Osinbajo are qualified but I’m the most eminently qualified because my records surpasses theirs,” he stresed.

He promised, when elected, to end issues of power shortages in the country by ensuring that the law making power an exclusive reserve for the Federal Government is amended, so that states can generate power and use for industrial growth and reduce unemployment.

While serving as Governor of Rivers State, the independent power that I started and completed, can serve the whole state but the Federal government did not allow us to use it, We have to change law through the National Assembly, when I’m elected” he emphasized.

He further explained that as the Governor of the State, he embarked in building world class school across villages for the poor as well as world class hospitals and transport systems.

He promised to bring these and more to bear when he clinched power in 2023.

He urged Governor Ganduje not to only support his presidential ambition but endorse him for the exalted position, considering the fact that votes from Kano being the most populus state in the country matters in Elections.

Governor Ganduje said Ameachi remains in the bracket of the APC aspirants’ to be supported, since some of the party stalwarts are pushing for the next President of the country to come from the South, where Ameachi hails from but fell short of endorsing him.

Since some of us have insisted that the next President should come from the South, it means you are in the bracket.

“It’s no doubt that Kano is the swinging state of Nigeria politics, but we know what you can do. The state will keep on swinging untill the right time..,” said Ganduje.

He Commended Ameachi for his efforts in the Abuja- Kaduna rail Line and the Kano-Maradi in Niger Republic rail Line, the Dala inland dry port located in the state, while serving as Minister of Transportationas well as his known success records in education, human and infrastructurural development among others.

When we talk of education, I have seen it because you insisted that a standard Community school must be built in Dala port to serve the children in the environment and now it’s in place.

The APC Presidential Primary will be held in two weeks time, while others will commence Friday this week.
