A former Senate President and a Presidential aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Bukola Saraki says the 2023 general election would determine the future of Nigeria as a nation.
The former Senate President made the remarks when he played host to the Taraba State Delegates at the government house in Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital.
He said the country has gone through so much and needed new set of Leadership who would do things differently to better the lots of the country.
“We can not have the same type of leaders tomorrow as we have today. 2023 is about the future of this country and our children.
“This country has been so divided and we can’t afford to use sentiments to vote
“We must do it right for the sake of those who died for no fault of theirs, we have been through so much in this country and we must choose competence leaders to rescue Nigeria,” the former Senate President said.
Senator Saraki noted that he is the only aspirant who has come out with policy direction on how to solve Nigeria’s problem.
He said, “Bad leadership is responsible for insecurity.
“We need a President that understand the economy and has vision for investment, my Agriculture revolution in Kwara State remains the largest livestock producer in Nigeria till today”.
He urged delegates to vote their conscience and not sell their votes.
