2023: NRM approves sales of Expression of Interest Form for youths, women, others

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) party in Nigeria has approved the sales of expression of interest and nomination forms for all categories of positions ahead of the 2023 general elections as resolved during the Emergency NEC meeting of the party on Thursday 31st March 2022.
The NEC also approved the NRM Electoral Guidelines, Timetable, and Schedule of Activities to conduct the party’s Primary Elections.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Sola Afuye, pronounced this in a press conference during the handing over ceremony of the party’s flag to the new National Chairman of the party after his emergence at the party’s National convention in Abuja, Nigeria.
“The NEC has approved a 50% reduction in nomination fees for youths aged 25 to 30 years for various elective positions, also 50% discount for women and people living with disability in our great party has been protected by our constitution from inception,” he said.
Following the party’s resolution, the NEC resolved that Forms be sold as follows:

The National Executive Council (NEC) expressed confidence in the ability of the NWC to lead the party to win the presidential election, the majority of state governors, and most seats in the National and State Assemblies.
The National Chairman of the party, Ambassador Isaac Chigozie Udeh called on Nigerians to support and join the party during and after the fourth coming 2023 general election for effective representation.
Ambassador Udeh expressed his sincere gratitude to God for the honor and privilege given to him to lead the party.
“I am indeed most humbled; I appreciate all members of the NRM across Nigeria, South Africa, Botswana, Ghana, and others for their prayers, support, and commitment to ensuring the emergence of this new National Working committee under my leadership.
“At the remarkably successful National Convention of our beloved Party. No doubt about it, we shall get to the promised land,” he said.
The chairman said the party’s mission as a grass-root-based National Party is to rescue Nigeria and Nigerians and improve the citizens’ standard of living.
Udeh urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure a peaceful and successful general election come 2023.
“We hereby call on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to give Nigerians a credible, freest and fairest election in 2023 so that they can write their name boldly on the marble,” he added.
The National Chairman of the party, Ambassador Isaac Chigozie Udeh said Nigerians are yearning for people-oriented leadership and good governance and the party will take over the mantle of leadership come 2023, the chairman described it as a new dawn of a new era for Nigeria citizens.
