2023 NWFL Premiership Super 6 Tournament Postponed
The Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) has been directed to postpone the forthcoming NWFL Premiership Super 6 tournament, due to the upcoming maiden WAFU-B U2-0 Women’s Cup in Kumasi, Ghana.
The title playoff tournament was billed to take place in Asaba, Delta State between May 5th – 12th, 2023. Delta Queens, Rivers Angels, title holders Bayelsa Queens, Confluence Queens, Robo Queens and Edo Queens are the participating clubs.

The Chief Operating Officer of the NWFL, Modupe Shabi, confirmed the postponement in a statement issued on Tuesday, May 2nd.

She said the new date for the Super 6 competition will be decided after the upcoming maiden WAFU-B U20 Women’s Cup in Ghana, holding from May 20th – 3rd June in Kumasi.
