A Governorship aspirant under the platform of the People’s Democratic party, PDP, Senator Joel Ikenya says he has all it takes to win the election in Taraba State.

Senator Ikenya said; “I’ve been in PDP from the beginning, we have never lost elections. Some of us are out because we believe that we need a credible people.

“I have served at various levels and with the experience I have gathered so far, I will perform and make the people proud if voted.”

The Taraba State Governorship election is billed for 11th March, 2023.

Also a Senatorial aspirant from Bayelsa State under the platform of the PDP, Pastor Donald Daunemigha has obtained the expression of interest and nomination forms to contest the Bayelsa West Senatorial seat against former governor, Seriake Dickson, in the 2023 election.

Daunemigha said; “because of the fact that we have an existing zoning arrangement that ought to bring the senatorial seat to my local government, I was asked by a wide spectrum of the people of the local governments to run in this election, and that is why I have obliged and after seeking the face of God, decided to take this giant leap.”

He said; “I believe very strongly that power actually comes from God and in a democracy, it is the people that holds the power or the force of the election to put you in any office therefore, If elected, I will represent the people well and touch lives positively.”

Daunemigh said; “I am not coming out because of my own personal interest but to serve the people.”
